Hello Families! I am very excited to meet each and every one of you! I will try to send some information via snail mail this weekend. However, I assume that most of you are already back-to-school shopping; so... VERY IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ. The school required across grade level supply lists this year. For my classroom, please do the following three listed items. These are items on the supply list already but there are a few minor changes for my classroom. Everything else is the same. You can view this on my class website under third grade supplies as well as other information about me and my classroom. 1. Purchase 1 BLUE PRONG PLASTIC AND POCKET FOLDER made by Mead: Five Star Brand OR send in $3 and eliminate one of the no prong folders. I purchased a class set for convenience due to the changes with how supplies are done this year. This will become their Take-Home Folder and I will customize it to be a daily communication folder between home and school. I will also be putting plastic sheet protectors inside for convenience of important items coming between home and school, like notes and money. 2. Get the following colors for the rest of the 8 NO PRONG PLASTIC FOLDERS: Green-Science, Yellow-Social Studies, Red-Math, Purple/Pink-ELA, Orange-Spanish, Any-Music, Any-Writer's Workshop, and Any-Health. 3. The 1 PRONG PLASTIC FOLDER requested for EER can be any color. Thank you for your time and consideration in regards to this. It will make our school year go smoothly and help keep the children organized. Aside from those 3 details that are needed for my room, I will attach some information in-case it doesn't make it to you in time via the post office. I am looking forward to meeting all the children and their families at Meet-the-Teacher night on Thursday, August 16th from 4:00pm until 6:30pm in room 902 (third floor at the end of the hall). Please, feel free to bring and drop off all school supply items and any wish list items that you may generously donate. Kindly, Mrs. Davis
